the hidden treasure tea room started life as a series of pop-up afternoon tea events in south London. 

 

I was born and raised in Exeter, moving on to the big smoke in my late teens to pursue a career in theatre, marking the start of almost twenty years of writing, performing, teaching and developing work for live audiences.  It was hard work -irregular and without guarantees, but I enjoyed every single changeable and challenging minute.  For a girl from the sticks, it was nothing short of an improbable dream come true.
